Cayman Crystal Caves on Grand Cayman Island

Cayman Crystal Caves

Explore the Crystal Caves

Hundreds of years ago, Pirates used these caves as hideouts and shelter from hurricanes. Legend has it that there are pirate treasures buried in some of these caves. Rather than finding pirate booty, you are more likely to see stalactite and stalagmite crystal structures and otherworldly formations, formed by single drops of water and the slow passage of time. In the forest above the caves are captivating tropical plants and animals.
