This unique experience offers you the most important and traditional pre-hispanic Mayan ball game and spectacular Mexican Fiesta with our folkloric ballet.
Enjoy a quick, comfortable drive through the Green landscapes of Cozumel Island, sacred place dedicated to fertility goddess Ixchel. Next, you will arrive to Kun Che, located at the oldest human settlement of the island “El Cedral” town. In this Maya Sanctuary you will witness the most sacred pre-hispanic ball game, POK TA POK. This traditional game is played by two teams; the winning team will sacrifice their lives to the gods of the underworld. At this location you will learn about the Maya Culture, experience the way they used to live on the Maya Sanctuary. Learn the process for the 100% handmade corn tortilla, how they cook the Mayan tamal and take part in the production of the organic artisan cacao “chocolate”. Finally you will experience the Mexican fiesta with our folkloric ballet entertaining you with regional dances from Yucatan Peninsula while you enjoy an authentic Mayan Lunch with handmade tortillas.

The park is fully accessible for wheelchairs or scooter and is equipped for all their needs.
Guests will need to be able to walk a few steps to get in/out the transportation by their own to participate on this tour.
Guest with limited mobility will need to approach to the Shore Excursions Desk on board to provide this vital information since they will require a special transportation service.
Unfortunately the park does not have this transportation with a lift, therefore this service is based on availability and require previous reservation.
The service will have an extra cost for the guest as this special transportation is not included on the ticket.
