On this excursion you will:
Take a short ride through the town of Mahahual to an Eco-friendly dive center.
Receive your scuba gear and an introductory lesson to scuba diving.
Participate in a guided dive of the spectacular Meso-American Barrier Reef.
See pristine corals and breathtaking reef formations that form massive ledges and swim-throughs.
Have the chance to see turtles, lobsters, stingrays, barracuda and a variety of tropical fish.
Return directly to your ship or stay and experience the local culture and beautiful beaches of Mahahual.
Tour the once fishing village that is now a small town thriving with beachfront shops, restaurants, bars, arts and crafts booths, and more.
Note: Minimum age is 10 years; maximum weight is 275 lbs. Scuba diving equipment is included.
Guests who wish to stay in Mahahual after the dive will be responsible for your return transportation to the ship.
Physical and medical requirements must be met. This is not a certification course and therefore a universally recognized certification card (C-Card) will not be issued to guests.
