Discover the historic city of San Juan and visit one of the most prolific rum distilleries in North America. Board your air-conditioned coach for the approximately 25-minute drive to Bacardi located in Cataño. Tour the famous Bacardi Visitor Center which traces the famed rum distillery's history and heritage from the company's founding to the present. Your approximately 90-minute guided tour visits seven exhibit rooms, including a state-of-the-art theater. Your tour concludes with a visit to the Hospitality Pavilion for complimentary cocktail. Bacardi products are available for purchase. As you leave the town of Cataño, you will pass the Condado District, a modern area of high-rise condominiums and luxury resorts. This guided drive will take you to Old San Juan and its 17th century architecture alongside its magnificent historical buildings like San Cristobal Fort and the Capitol Building. You will have the opportunity to browse around the famous Plaza Colón for shopping and picture taking time before returning to the ship. NOTE: There may be an extended wait time at the Bacardi distillery. Some stops are unguided for guests to explore independently. The order of stops may vary depending on traffic.
