Formal Night
By: Lorraine Highseas

“Formal” nights are really more like “suit or sport coat & tie” nights – although on some cruises (especially the transatlantic ones) I have learned that “formal” means just that – the only men not wearing a tuxedo are those that ain’t got one!

If you’re averse to the very idea of “dressing” – all ships offer any number of casual dining options. If you want to really kick-back – order room service….just remember gratuity is always appreciated.

But my question is…..guys – would it kill you to give your jeans and “gimmie” caps a rest at least for one night? Give your ladies a chance to wear their best – go with it – “suck it in” – put on a coat and tie (uncomfortable though it may be)! Your lady will love you for your sacrifice……and you may be rewarded for it later – LOL
