Things to Do on Sea Days - Or Not!

It’s one of those days – cruising in the middle of nowhere. A great chance to enjoy the ship AND some of the fun activities – while keeping in mind that every passenger will be doing the same.

Relax by the pool? You can try it remembering that the “sexy man” contest and perhaps the “belly flop” competitions are held on sea days. If you’re in to that – go for it! It’s fun to watch – or maybe participate!

Visit an art auction (keeping in mind that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”) It’s fun to watch as bidders get carried away ($$$) and the complimentary champagne is drinkable.

Play trivia. Join a team or make you own. Test your knowledge of minutia – you may even win a nifty key chain, and of course, bragging rights for the day - LOL!

Get healthy! The treadmills and various other instruments of torture are waiting in the exercise facility for you – just don’t go during peak hours.

Enjoy the dining room for breakfast, lunch – or both. You’ll find it a civilized respite from trying to maneuver your way through the buffet. It’s casual during the day (shorts/flip-flops okay) – but please, not in the evenings.

Play bingo! It’s a fun way to spend a couple of hours for minimal cost. You may even win a few bucks!

See where this is going? There are activities available all over the ship – from ice carving demonstrations to towel art (learn how to create those cute little bedtime animals) to beauty seminars to napkin folding to lectures and so much more! If you’re bored on a sea day it’s your own fault!

Personally, Lorraine loves sea days – to her every day is a sea day since she rarely debarks in ports – she ain’t as young as she used to be LOL!

you like! If you enjoy a quiet place to read and relax there are plenty of places to do that. If you’re a “need to be entertained” person you’ll find plenty to do.
