There are two options for parking. You may park in the Official Port of Galveston's lot or you may park in a privatly operated parking lot.

 Official Port of Galveston's Parking Lots

The parking lots are located just 4/10 of a mile from the Cruise Ship Terminal. The parking lots are paved, drained, fenced, and lighted. Gates will be locked upon vessel departure and no entry will be available on non-cruise days. Lots are to be monitored by Port police every two hours.

You must go to the cruise terminal first and drop off your luggage. After dropping off your luggage, you must drive your vehicle to the parking lot and you will be transported back to the terminal by a shuttle.

Cash, Travelers Checks, Visa, and Master Card are accepted. The rates are:

  • 4-Day Cruise: Uncovered - $40
  • 5-Day Cruise: Uncovered - $45
  • 7-Day Cruise: Uncovered - $65

     Private Lot Operated as Lighthouse Parking

    This private lot is also close to the terminal. They will shuttle your party with luggage rather than making you drop off luggage at the terminal first. Note below that their rates are better than the official port lots. Get an even better rate by booking in advance.

    Galveston Park n Cruise is 1 block from the cruise terminal. Since it's close enough to walk, there is no need to wait on a shuttle. Galveston Park n Cruise also offers secured indoor parking.

    Discount Cruise Parking is the closest lot to I-45. They feature a convenience store and Deli to pick up a bite to eat and any forgotten items before arriving at the ship. Discount Cruise Parking also shuttles you and your luggage to and from the terminal.
